Dog on Skateboard in NYC
New York City is the place to see crazy things, and this video ranks right up there with the craziest of them all. This dog rides a skateboard, which is less special than it used to be, but that this dog is able to skate on the sidewalks of Manhattan and not run out into traffic is a pretty impressive survival skill.
There must be some sort of natural adeptness that bulldogs have for riding a skateboard. There are some obvious traits that help. like the low center of gravity, short legs, muscular build. There must also be something in a bulldogs temperment that makes them more likely to be interested in riding a skateboard. Other skateboarding dogs have shown more fuild and flowing motions. Riding in the confines of the city call for adaptation, so it is no surprise that this NYC dog is choppier and more eratic. Still pretty fun to watch.
